The ALTA Wireless Temperature Sensors uses an NTC-type thermistor to measure temperature from -40°C to 125°C (-40°F to 257°F ). The sensor outputs the ambient temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or Celsius. The sensor is accurate to ± 1°C (± 1.8°F). Increased accuracy to ± 0.25°C (± 0.45°F) can be accomplished with user calibration.
