Health and Safety Committees and Representatives - Alberta Online, virtually guides participants through a methodical delivery of guiding documents and legislative requirements of the Alberta OHS Act, Code, and Regulation, along with step-by-step processes and best practices for performing hazard assessment and control, worksite inspections, incident investigations, and holding effective JHSMS meetings. Direct focus on the individual roles of employer and worker co-chairs, committee members, and representatives of joint health and safety management systems is provided, including the JHSMS of diverse workplaces with multiple employers (both unionized and non-union), and prime contractors.
