Emergency Management Training

While we all hope situations like fires, floods, human violence, and medical emergencies never happen to or around us at work, the reality is that sometimes they do. If a co-worker had a heart attack at the lunch table next to you, would you know what to do? Do you know how to recognize and prevent some of the most common emergencies that affect your particular industry? As an employer, do you feel confident that your emergency management material covers these situations thoroughly and appropriately? This course encourages proper preparedness by taking both employers and employees through the steps of emergency management so that they can be confident and knowledgeable about their roles before, during, and after an emergency situation happens. This course consists of six chapters. These chapters include: Chapter 1: What is a Workplace Emergency? Chapter 2: What is Emergency Management? Chapter 3: Responsibilities of Employers and Employees in Workplace Safety Chapter 4: What is an Emergency Awareness Plan? Chapter 5: Working Alone Chapter 6: Review There will be quizzes along the way, and upon completion you will be presented with a final exam to test your knowledge.
