Cargo Securement (CAN)

This is a Canada-compliant safety training course intended for anyone loading and transporting cargo on flatbed trucks. Topics covered in this training include governing bodies, requirements, securing process, specific cargo, and hazards. This course meets the classroom requirement for occupational safety training. It also includes a proficiency checklist that employers can use to perform a practical evaluation. Upon completion, trainees will be able to download and print a certificate or wallet card to show that they have completed the Cargo Securement (CAN) course. NOTE: Only an employer can designate an employee as certified. Certification requirements can vary by state or province. Check local standards for any additional occupational training requirements.
